In general, Shopper's Voice® collects consumer opinions, shopping habits & other related information in order to provide services of value to our individual members and partner companies. We generally use this information in 3 ways:
- To provide members with relevant information and offers
- To help partner companies introduce new products and market existing ones
- To send members other information about Shopper's Voice

What information we collect
Contact information: Our Consumer Product Survey requests contact information in order for you to participate in Shopper's Voice programs. For example, your name and postal address are required to receive product samples, valuable trial coupons, information and other offers via postal mail. Your email address, country of origin and zip code are required to receive email.
Survey Information: Shopper's Voice conducts the Consumer Product Survey, which includes questions regarding your household's product usage, brand preferences, shopping habits and lifestyles (hobbies & interests such as reading & sports) as well as demographic information (for example, number of people in household, age, gender, household income). This information enables us to provide you with the most relevant information and offers for your household. Many of our partners create offers especially for people with certain interests and demographic characteristics.
Email Use Information: If you receive email, Shopper's Voice and our network partners will collect information about whether our members are opening email and clicking-through to the content and offers contained in the email. This information is used to determine whether to resend offers to you and also may be used in combination with that of other members solely in an aggregate and anonymous format. The aggregate information is used to develop summary reports for our partner companies and us so we can enhance and improve our products and services.
Cookies: A cookie is a small piece of information put on your hard drive by a website through your Internet browser. This information helps identify a visitor returning to a site. Shopper's Voice uses cookies, to save you time so you don't have to re-enter your password each time you visit our Web site. In some cases we also use cookies to understand activity at our websites or websites you reach through our email. This information is only used in combination with that of other members, solely in an aggregate and anonymous format.
You can set your Internet browser to accept or reject cookies, or alert you when a cookie has been placed on your hard drive. The "help" menu on your browser's toolbar will tell you how to change your cookie preferences.
Third Party Information: Shopper's Voice may use additional information from other companies to help our partner companies and us to enhance and improve our respective products and services and to provide you with more relevant information and offers.
How we use and share information
“Thank-you” coupons & samples: If you have completed the Consumer Product Survey and provided your name and address, Shopper's Voice may use this information to send a free packet of high-value coupons, samples and offers by postal mail, as a “thank-you” for filling out the survey.
Bonus Offers Program: Companies that sell products and services, about which our members are likely to be interested, seek out groups like ours to provide additional free product samples, valuable trial coupons, information, research, discount and other offers via postal mail, email and on occasion, by telephone. We always provide you with the opportunity to decide whether or not you would like to participate in this program. If you participate in this program the minimum amount of information reasonably required will be shared with our partner companies, in order for them to provide you the samples, information and offers that would be most relevant to you. We have contractual agreements with our partners to ensure that personally identifiable information that they receive from us is handled securely and in conformity with this Privacy Policy.
If at any time you no longer want to receive these offers, you can remove yourself by following the instructions indicated below under Managing your Membership.
Email Programs: If you provide Shopper's Voice with your email address, you will receive extra offers and useful information through email. We work with companies who will send you relevant email information and offers based on the survey information you have provided. If you participate in this program, the minimum amount of information reasonably required, in most cases is your email address, lifestyle and demographic information only, which may be shared with our partner companies. We have contractual agreements with these companies that personally identifiable information that they receive from us is handled securely and in conformity with this Privacy Policy.
If at any time you no longer want to receive email offers, you can unsubscribe following the instructions indicated below under Managing your Membership.
Legal Requests: In addition to the disclosure of your personal information noted above, we may use and disclose any information about you to law enforcement, other government officials or other third parties as we in our sole discretion believe necessary or appropriate, in connection with an investigation of fraud, intellectual property infringement, or other activity that is illegal or may expose us to legal liability.
We may also disclose such information to third parties as we believe necessary or appropriate, in connection with any merger or consolidation with, or sale of substantially all of our assets or the assets of a line of our business to, a third party, provided that such a third party agrees to comply with the privacy policy that applies to your personal information and that appropriate notices are provided to you.
Summary Reports & Analysis: Some of the information you provide will also be combined with the same kind of information from other members to create aggregate and anonymous research reports. These reports help our partner companies and us to enhance and improve our respective products and services. We may use and/or provide these reports to third parties for analysis or other purposes, however, the information in these reports will not personally identify you as the information combines members in aggregate and anonymous format.
Managing your membership
At Shopper's Voice we provide you with the opportunity to decide which programs you would like to participate in, so you have a choice as to whether you receive email or postal mail.
Email Programs: If you want to receive Shopper's Voice email you can join by providing your email address on the Consumer Products Survey. You can stop receiving these emails at any time by following the "Unsubscribe" instructions on any email we send you, at managing your membership online, or by writing to us. Our partner companies are updated on a regular basis about members who no longer wish to participate in this program.
Bonus Offers Program: You will qualify for these offers if you have completed the "Consumer Product Survey" and provided your name and address. You can let us know that you wish to stop receiving samples, information and offers, by contacting us directly either via email to contactus@Shoppers-Voice.com or via postal mail at the address indicated below under Contact Us, or at managing your membership online. Please remember to include your name and address (city, state and zip code) for verification purposes. Our partner companies are updated on a regular basis about members who no longer wish to participate in this program.
Correcting/Updating Your Information: Your contact information is what we use to send you information, extra offers, updates on sweepstakes and surveys. If you are a member who has provided Shopper's Voice with your email address, you can update your own contact information by logging in and updating your profile.
If you are a member who has not provided Shopper's Voice with an email address and you wish to change your address for future postal mailings and offers, please contact us directly either via email at contactus@Shoppers-Voice.com or via postal mail at the address indicated below under Contact Us. Please remember to include your name, old address and new address including city, state and zip code, to ensure accuracy.
Security
To prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, to maintain data accuracy, and to ensure the appropriate use of the information, we use appropriate physical, technical and administrative procedures to safeguard the information we collect and maintain. Personal information held by Shopper’s Voice, its affiliates, agents and/or service providers may be located in the United States or Canada, and will be subject to the same levels of security, while also being subject to the laws of the jurisdiction in which the information is held.
However, you are ultimately responsible for the security of your password. Please take care when using and storing it. We recommend that you do not divulge your password to anyone. You should log out of your browser at the end of each computer session to ensure that others cannot access your personal information and correspondence, if you share a computer with someone else or are using a computer in a public place, such as a library.

Shopper's Voice uses third parties to provide Shopper's Voice programs and services as well as for the purpose of data verification and supplementation. Our email messages may contain links to other sites that may not be affiliated with Shopper's Voice. Please note, however, that these other sites may have privacy policies that differ from those of Shopper's Voice. We have no control over any personal information you choose to provide these sites.
Terms & Conditions
Shopper's Voice products and services are intended for residents of Canada and the US that are over 13 years of age. If you are under the age of 18, you may only use Shopper’s Voice member services with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
